Coronavirus kills Dolors Sala Carrio, Pep Guardiola’s mum

Dolors Sala Carrió, mother of Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City coach, has died after contracting coronavirus.
She died in Manresa, Barcelona. She was 82.

The club confirmed the death on Monday in several tweets.

Dolors, until her death was still married to Pep’s father Valenti, a bricklayer.

They had four children. Pep is their third child.
