Delight Nunieh, the troubled previous acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission, is affirming before the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC at the progressing analytical hearing on the supposed unlawful use and fumble by the commission, The PUNCH reports.

The investigation of the NDDC had got messier on Thursday as the police attacked the Port Harcourt living arrangement of Nunieh.

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who kept the police from taking Nunieh away, had solicited the Inspector General from Police, Mohammed Adamu, to test the intrusion of the previous NDDC chief.

It was asserted that the intrusion was to forestall Nunieh from moving from Port Harcourt to Abuja to affirm before the board.

In Abuja, high ranking representatives of the NDDC, who showed up before the board of trustees had left the scene of the sitting in the wake of demanding that the board Chairman, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, must advance down.
