Yusuf Buhari, the child of President Muhammadu Buhari, has endured head damage and numerous breaks, following a power bicycle crash in Abuja.

Notwithstanding, the administration has said that the president's child is in a steady condition in a private center subsequent to experiencing head surgery in Abuja.

It was learnt that the crash happened on Tuesday night when Yusuf, alongside a companion were dashing in the capital city and veered off the street simultaneously. He was said to have laid there oblivious before the spouse of the President, Aisha Buhari was alarmed.

Reports said "She requested that he be quickly raced to Cedarcrest Hospital, where he is as of now accepting treatment. We are more worried about the head damage than the cracks. As I address you, Yusuf is oblivious.

"An air rescue vehicle may remove him from the nation any minute," the reports said.

Then, an announcement made accessible to newsmen by Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity President Buhari Garba Shehu on Wednesday affirmed that Yusuf Buhari had a bicycle mischance on Tuesday night around Gwarimpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

"He broke an appendage and had damage to the head thus. He has experienced surgery at a center in Abuja. He is in a steady condition," he said.

The President and his better half, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, are grateful to Nigerians for the great wishes and petitions for their child, the announcement said.
