The Chinese company's Huawei Nova 5i is another impressive smartphone. The phone is Huawei Nova 5's affordable edition and it comes with all the goodies you'll find later on. The difference here is that it also has less sensor capacity, less RAM and less processing power. To those with a budget in mind, it will surely make a wise purchase.

Design And Display
On the body, the Huawei nova 5i packs a decent body design that is built with the combination of plastic and glass. The smooth panel is equipped with a four-camera set-up, an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner for security.

It has body dimensions of 159.1 x 75.9 x 8.3 mm and weight 178 grams which is not that heavy. The punch hole on the Nova 5i offers a large screen display size of 6.4 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels and 398 PPI density.

The display packs an IPS display panel instead of the OLED display on the original. This, however, is not that bad considering the price tag. Users will get display protection on the phone and DCI-P3 support as well.

Camera
On the camera set-up, the Huawei Nova 5i packs 24 megapixels main shooter with 8 megapixels ultrawide camera another 2 megapixels which is a dedicated macro camera and lastly is 2 megapixels depth sensor.

The camera features LED flash, HDR, panorama and it’s capable of shooting full HD videos as well. Selfies lovers will get a front camera of 24 megapixels with HDR support and the camera can shoot full HD video quality.

Hardware And Software
Behind the wheel is a Hisilicon Kirin 710F chipset built on 12 nm process technology. The SOC has an octa-core processor that handles its assignment at a speed of 2.2 GHz.

You will also get a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU on the inside for graphics related issues. Booting the Huawei Nova 5i is Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box with EMUI 9.1 user interface on top.

On the memory, the Nova 5i has an internal storage of 128GB with 6GB RAM. There’s another model with a huge 8GB RAM and still 128GB. Thankfully, you can still expand the memory with a micro SD card up to 512GB.

Battery And Network
Beneath the smarrtphone is a non-removable battery capacity of 4000 mAh. The juicer has support for fast charging technology and its promise to last a full day under normal usage.
