Most pundits who got the film at Venice and TIFF in 2018 have showered the film, and especially Portman's execution, with acclaim — The Playlist's Jessica Kiang contrasted Portman with an obscene Ariana Grande with a God complex — you will likely hear substantially more about "Vox Lux" in the coming months.
