The crowd went wild when Starboy, Wizkid walked in at last night’s Headies award, with everyone jumping to their feet and screaming his name, as no one expected him at the event, due to his ill health.
The star cockily walked in without even a wave for his over-excited fans, who remained undeterred.
One fan however had the worst kind of snubbing from the talented singer as he was left with enough embarrassment to last him the rest of the year.
The excited man had got up with outstretched arms to hug Wizzy, who completely ignored him and preserved his hug instead for the lady sitting right beside him.
The poor guy was left standing there, looking around for someone to save him from the shame.
The snubbed man turned out to be TV presenter, actor and model, Caesar, who also happens to be music star, Eva Alordiah‘s fiance. Wizkid had ignored him and gone on to hug Eva, a more familiar face.
The question on everyone’s lips now is why? Why did Wizkid embarrass Caesar in such an epic manner? Did he not see him standing? Is he not familiar with him? And if not, why did Caesar stretch out his arms in such an over-familiar manner when they’re barely even friends?
We really don’t have the answer to why this might have happened, but the situation seems like the typical one where you stretch out your hands to hug someone and he goes on to hug the person beside you instead, probably because he didn’t realise you liked him enough to want to hug him.
It has happened to the best of us, so maybe we all need to chill a little and stop making the already shameful situation even more mortifying than it already is.
