Social media attacks singer for cancelling planned protest

People are not happy with 2face for cancelling the proposed protest, less than 48 hours before it was supposed to start.

2face Idibia announced his intention to lead a protest against bad governance on January 25, 2017.
In a call to action, the music star stated his reasons for the march, set to hold on Monday, February 6th, adding that the march was important because the Nigerian government had failed its people.



This got threats from the Police, boycott from some celebrities, however, there were still a lot of people that supported the cause and were ready to march with the singer.

Unfortunately, these supporters have been sorely disappointed as 2face has just cancelled the protest, stating security concerns as his reason.
