Rihanna Attacks Donald Trump For Playing Her Song
on: November 05, 2018, 03:14:10 PM

Singer Rihanna has took to her twitter to slam US President Donald Trump for playing one of their songs at “tragic” Republican rallies. The 30-year-old singer condemned Mr Trump after finding out her hit “Don’t Stop the Music” was used at one of his rallies.

The drama started when Philip Rucker, the White House Bureau Chief at The Washington Post, tweeted.

Quote
“It’s been said a million times, but here’s a million and one — Trump’s rallies are unlike anything else in politics. Currently, Rihanna’s ‘Don’t Stop the Music’ is blaring in Chattanooga as aides toss free Trump T-shirts into the crowd, like a ball game. Everyone’s loving it.”

The Grammy-award-winning artist then took to her Twitter page to reply:

Quote
“Not for much longer…me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up.”

Rihanna’s swipe at Mr Trump came hours after she urged her Instagram followers to vote in the upcoming midterms. US voters will head to the polls on Tuesday.

She urged followers to vote for Democratic candidate Andrew Gillum for governor of Florida.

The backlash also follows musician Pharrell Williams sending Mr Trump a legal challenge over his use of the song Happy on the day of the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre.
