9th of May, 2019 Team Osun Ultimate Awards releases first Press Statement this year. It gives me great pleasure to make a public statement and to speak on behalf of the organizers of Osun Ultimate Awards (OUA) to the good people of Osun at home and in diaspora.
After a successful outcome at the Osun Ultimate Awards event, The Bold Face Edition 2018 which was held on the 19th of August last year; we can not but thank God for his Grace upon the Project, the hardworking citizens of our dear State and brains behind the efficient businesses in this state that have contributed positively to the economic growth and development of Osun.
Also, the State Government of Osun for it’s endorsement of the Awards Project and it’s massive encouragement to visionary leaders who believed in a greater Osun and the effective glory of Osun to the whole universe.
However, as it has been in our culture and as all plans are getting set for this year’s Awards Project; I believe it is very essential to call our attention to some important facts before the Award Event.
1. Osun Ultimate Awards will be giving out 45 Awards Plaques and certificates to 45 individuals, businesses, brands or groups in this year’s Event; of which this as affirmed Osun Ultimate Awards as the biggest and the most-fair Awards Platform in Osun and the Southwestern region of the country.
2. Nominations are welcomed from all over the country, our state and locality in the 35 competitive categories of the Awards, 7 unopposed Special recognition categories and 3 unopposed Hall of Fame categories. These nominees can be citizens, business owners, residents of Osun and must have one way or the other added great values to the state.
3. Online Voting for the competitive categories is proposed to start by 15th of July and will end on the 5th of August.
4. All nominees must submit their profiles to the organizers by means which will be stated to every nominee in their notification letters.
5. Before the Awards event, an onset and on-point assessment will be conducted and visits will be made to necessary offices before the Awards night.
5. Osun Ultimate Awards (OUA) for this year is tagged THE CHAMPION EDITION, and the event proper will hold in the ancient city of Osogbo on SUNDAY AUGUST 18TH, 2019.
