Numerous individuals were harmed when understudies of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) and business motorcyclists, some of whom were said to be indigenes of the group, clashed with themselves in a free for all, on Tuesday.

Sources in the group disclosed to DAILY POST stuck in an unfortunate situation had begun when an understudy and a business motorcyclist had a fight over toll, which deteriorated.

A source said "the business biker slapped the understudy and that prompted a battle between them, which different understudies locked into".

The source guaranteed that "it was because of the outrage packaged by the understudies over what they see as their abuse by the business motorcyclists and sundry business administrators in the group."

The conflict was said to have exacerbated when the business motorcyclists were said to have prepared against the understudies, who were likewise not prepared to simply be cowed.

The harmed understudies were dealt with at the college's wellbeing focus and were released.

The occurrence left a portion of the understudies stranded after they had adjusted off their address due to the strain made by the conflicts in the town.

Talking on the episode, the Public Relations Officer of FUOYE, Mr. godfre Bagji, said clarified that it was "a conflict between some of our understudies and business motorcyclists," saying "it was an occurrence that happened momentarily outside the grounds."

On the reality of the wounds maintained by the influenced understudies, Bagji said "when I got to the wellbeing focus, the harmed understudies had been dealt with and they had cleared out."

He said it was not "generally an understudies versus indigenes matter but rather understudies and business motorcyclists and we should realize that a large number of the cyclists are not even indigenes of the town."
