Abdullahi stated, "The Senate at its 400th meeting held on January 26, 2023, expelled 27 students and rusticated eight others for allegedly being involved in examination misconduct." The statement says that the Senate's decision was in line with the University's General Regulations' categories 20, 17, which are AI, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and XII. However, the Senate issued warnings to 22 additional students, according to the statement.
