The WhatsApp team has finally released the update that includes a dark mode theme for the world’s most popular messaging app. The new version of the app is rolling out now to millions of devices across the globe for both Android and iOS users, but it may be a few days until you see the update. The dark mode theme for WhatsApp uses a handful of dark colors that compliment the color pallets of Android and iOS. If you’re currently using a phone that runs on Android 10, WhatsApp will automatically switch to its dark mode theme if dark mode is enabled at the system level. If you don’t have dark mode enabled on the system level or if you’re using an older version of Android, you can turn it on in WhatsApp be going to the app’s settings and selecting Chats > Theme > Dark.
