A vehicle with the registration number KJA 393 XA was involved in the accident at Osu junction. The incident was reported by the public relations officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ms. Agness Ogungbemi. She said: "The five people who were injured were taken for medical care to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ife." Two people died and their bodies were taken to the hospital's morgue.
