The rescue of six people who were kidnapped during an attack at a train station in Edo State has been announced by the state government.
 
On Monday, the development was made public in a statement issued by the Edo state government.
 
A 65-year-old man, a nursing mother and her child, a six-year-old girl, and two siblings, ages two and five, are among the rescued victims.
