Photos showing the Kogi polytechnic students killed in the tanker explosion have emerged.

Friends and colleagues mourn two students in the tanker explosion that occurred on Wednesday in the Lokoja afelele area, along the Lokoja-Abuja Highway.

Aina Sunday of the Department of Business Admistration, ND2, and Isah Ayuba, HND1, also of Business Administration, were identified as the deceased students.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) fuel laden tanker was reported to have suffered a brake failure, rammed into five cars, two motorcycles and three tricycles, killing the occupants before bursting into flames.

Taking one Husseina Ajanigo Amodu to Facebook, she shared a screenshot of the last conversation she had with the late Ayuba.
