Mr Jimoh used the occasion to appeal to parents to play their parts very well as stakeholders in the education sector, expla that Government can not do it alone.

According to him, "Government through the Ministry of Education will continue to ensure that the right thing is done for teaching and learning to take place, we will continue to provide the right environment for learning and we will continue monitor and motivate our teachers.

"Parents and guardians also have a critical role to play in complementing government's efforts, a new term is about to commence, parents and guardians should prepare their children very well for the new academic term.

"Government will always play its part, some of those steps include the ongoing recruitment of teachers into public schools across the State, this is to tell you that Government is taking the education sector seriously". He stated.
