One person has sustained injuries in an incident where a tanker toppled on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Friday morning.

The spokesperson for the Ogun State Sector command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe, who confirmed the crash in a WhatsApp chat, noted that the accident happened around Ara Hall along the expressway.

"Crash alert on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway around ARA HALL. It's an empty tanker. One person (was) injured and no life (was) lost. FRSC personnel fully on grand managing the situation," she said in the chat sent to our correspondent.
