After a train derailed on the corridor, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended Abuja-Kaduna train services.

On Friday afternoon, January 27, the train that was just a few minutes away from reaching its destination in Abuja derailed.

The NRC stated that it suspended services on the route due to "unforeseen circumstances" in a notice posted on its mobile application following the incident.

It read;

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Abuja-Kaduna train services has been suspended.”
