Tribune Online gathered the men of the Nigerian Army, who were on a stop and search mission, arrested one of the four suspects while the Special Anti Robbery Squad of the Lagos State police command arrested the three others. A police source told the Tribune Online that the soldiers arrested a member of the gang, who was escaping to Okitipupa in Ondo State. A police source at SARS, who told Tribune Online of the arrest of the suspects, said that the police authorities had to rely on the experience of former operatives of the unit who have been redeployed.
