A viral video circulating recorded the moment VDM and his crew came into armed kidnappers who had blocked the road. 

According to sources, VDM and his squad promptly joined forces with authorities to pursue the culprits, saving a victim who had been shot.  One of the kidnappers was killed as a result of the confrontation.

The incident sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media platform X. A user, Flawless, wrote: “Nigeria is becoming too unsafe. VeryDarkMan and his team just encountered suspected kidnappers in Edo, gunfire, chaos, and one life nearly lost. This comes after cases like Fish Magnet, abducted and killed.”
