The minister, who submitted her resignation letter to President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday and was born and raised in England, departed the country, according to her associates who notified PREMIUM TIMES of the development on Saturday evening. Quote “She has left Nigeria,” a source said. “She most likely is in the UK by now.” Premium Times had earlier quoted a lawyer, Shuaibu Sule, as listing five offences he said the minister is liable for. The offences include forgery, possession of fake document, uttering, giving false information and skipping the national service. It is understood that they carry jail terms of between one to 14 years, according to the Penal Code Law and the National Youth Service (NYSC) Act.
