Fire guts Ecobank headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos on Tuesday.

As its disclosed by eyewitness, the fire outbreak when a diesel tanker exploded near generator.

Confirming the outbreak, the PR unit of the bank said the fire was caused by a truck delivering diesel and thereby impacting the generator in the bank.

The bank added that officers of the Federal and Lagos State Fire Service were on ground to put out the fire, adding that the situation was under control.
