State Police Command spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi, who verified the development on Sunday, September 27, said the cultists had been arrested following a report submitted to the Ogijo Police Station. The cultists shot the teenager, dispossessed him of his phone, according to the PPRO, and then went ahead to unleash terror on the group. "The DPO Ogijo Division CSP Muhammad Suleiman Baba reportedly led his men to the scene where eight members of the violent party were arrested, namely: Olatunji Opeyemi m '26, Ayuba Oduola m' 25, Sobowale Abiodun m' 28, Sobowale Sunday m' 25, Adelowo Olalekan m '32, Kareem Lanre m' 21, Emmanuel Adebisi m' 21 and Tobiloba Wasiu m' 20, after a serious encounter with the police," he said.
