NCAA Suspends KWAM1 from Air Travel for Six Months Following Airport Incident.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has imposed a six-month air travel suspension on renowned Fuji artist, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM1.

The decision stems from an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, involving the musician and airline staff during boarding for a ValueJet flight. Reports suggest the altercation was linked to a suspected prohibited substance, though KWAM1 has denied any misconduct, stating he was only in possession of bottled water.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed that an investigation is underway. NCAA officials noted that the suspension aligns with ongoing efforts to uphold discipline and ensure strict adherence to aviation safety and conduct regulations.
