Old Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna. It was gathered on Saturday that the aircraft, which took off from the Nigerian Air Force base, Kaduna, was heading for Abuja when it came down in the early hours of the day. The military aircraft was said to have crashed into a residential building within the neighborhood NDA, igniting fears that the casualty figure could be high. It was gathered that there were no survivors in the crash. The Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Dele Alonge, confirmed the crash to our correspondent on the telephone but did not give details. He said the NAF would issue a statement on it later. Our correspondent learnt that the seven people on board the aircraft, comprising the crew members and the passengers, died in the crash. It was gathered the captain, the co-pilot, the board technician and four passengers were involved in the crash.
