According to reports, the crash occurred when two privately owned vehicles coming from opposite directions collided in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital. The collision led to the death of three women and two men, who reportedly died at the scene of the accident. FRSC Rivers state Sector Commander, Umoh Etuk, told newsmen that the victims of the accident died in the crash at the Rumuokwuta axis. But he did not disclose the identities of the victims. He, however, said the remains of the victims have been evacuated, while those injured are responding to treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
