The Super Falcons’ starting XI to face Morocco in the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, has been confirmed.

Super Falcons coach, Justine Pwanidi Madugu, opted to start goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal against the host nation.

Madugu also started the likes of Osinachi Ohale and Michelle Alozie in the defensive line.


DAILY POST reports that Nigeria head into the game after beating South Africa 2-1 in the semi-final encounter.

Morocco, on the other hand, defeated Ghana via a penalty shoot-out.

The WAFCON final will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat on Saturday at 9 p.m.
