Galtier also urged PSG fans to remember what Messi has done since the start of the season with the team now that the Argentina captain has achieved his incredible goal of winning the FIFA World Cup trophy. Messi is set to get a rousing welcome in France after winning the FIFA World Cup with Argentina’s national team last December. The former Barcelona captain, who has been on vacation since winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, is getting ready to head to the Parc des Princes and will be with PSG this week. Speaking about Messi, Galtier told the media after PSG’s 3-1 defeat to Lens in the Ligue 1 tie on Sunday: “We will be very happy to welcome him. Leo [Lionel Messi] will surely join us on January 3, so in 48 hours. “Obviously he’ll be well received at home. At the reception at the stadium, I have no doubts about the fact that he will be well received at the Parc des Princes. “He won the most beautiful trophy by being very good in this World Cup. Above all, now that he has achieved this incredible goal, we must remember what he has done since the start of the season with the team.”
