Two countries have qualified for the semi-final stage of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.

This follows the conclusion of the quarter-final fixture played between Argentina and Mexico in the early hours of Sunday.

Argentina, which eliminated Nigeria from the competition, defeated Mexico 2-0 to advance to the last-4.


Also, Colombia had defeated Spain 3-2 in the other quarter-final played on Saturday to qualify for the semi-final.

Meanwhile, more quarter-final matches will take place on Sunday and Monday.

The United States of America will face Morocco, while Norway will tackle France.

The semi-final stage will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
