If Matthaus were the 33-year-old Reus, whose contract ends at the end of the 2022–23 season, he said he would have moved to Al Nassr. Reus has been an integral part of Dortmund for more than a decade and has helped the German club win five trophies. Before the 2023–20 season, it has been speculated that he will accompany Ronaldo to Al-Nassr. Additionally, Matthaus indicated to Sky Sports Germany, "I'm not so sure about Marco Reus playing for Borussia Dortmund next season." Al-Nassr, Ronaldo's new Saudi Arabian club, appears to be interested. Reus will and must take into consideration a financial opportunity if this club makes an offer. If I were him, I'd do it.
