The fan reportedly died of a medical condition, the club confirmed in a terse statement on Monday. It read: “Manchester City are aware of the tragic news that one of our supporters passed away following a medical incident at yesterday’s match. “The thoughts of everyone at the Club are with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.” City led for most of the game, thanks to a Josko Gvardiol header in the first half. But late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo saw the Red Devils come from behind to take all three points at The Etihad.
