Kingsley Coman had opened the scoring for Bayern Munich in the 8 minutes, but Dejan Ljubicic’s penalty gave Koln an equalizer in the second half. However, Jamal Musiala’s 89-minute goal ensured Bayern lifted the trophy ahead of Borussia Dortmund, who drew 2-2 with Mainz at home. The Bavarians finished the Bundesliga season with 71 points from 34 games, the same as second-placed Dortmund but won the league with a massive goal difference of over 15 goals. It’s Bundesliga title number 33 for Bayern and their 11th time in a row — the first one under their manager Thomas Tuchel.
