Olufi of Gbongan And Others Commended Oyetola For His Project In Osun State.

The Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola on Monday 23rd of May took his re-election campaign to Ode-omu, Orile-owu and Gbongan.

Governor Oyetola was welcome by mammoth crowd from the three communities. The crowd who were jubilating and singing different songs expressed their satisfaction with the first term of the Governor and reiterate their readiness to ensure his re-election.

Oba Adetoyese Oyeniyi, the Olufi of Gbongan, praised the governor for his impressive performance in less than four years, saying, "Your re-election is our common goal here in Gbongan."

Governor Oyetola needed to return, according to Oyeniyi, to build on the outstanding job he had done since taking office in November 2018.

I say it all the time. I have the opportunity to speak about how much you have accomplished, and I thank God for guiding you this far. It is good that you build on your achievements, which is why another four years are required.

"We understand your desire to govern Osun is not motivated by personal benefit or profit, which is why your reelection is a collaborative initiative here in Gbongan," Oba Oyeniyi stated.

Governor Oyetola was also regarded as a fulfillment of God's promise to Osun by the Alayegun of Ode Omu, Oba James Bolanrinwa Alabi Oladipupo, who added that his performance in three-and-a-half years demonstrated that he was raised to fix Osun.

The monarch also added that the Governor's performance so far has showed that he's fully ready to fix the state which has forced him to change the Governors name to "Adegbosunga". He further urged the people of the community not to work against God's fulfilment in Osun.

"Those who are paying attention will notice that Osun has undergone huge and major changes since he became governor, and he will do much better if given the mandate again," he says.

The Olowu of Orile-Owu, Oba Daud Ajolola Akinfalabi in his own part while addressing the campaign train laud Governor Oyetola for running an all-inclusive, a clearly defined and participatory government. He also reiterate his community readiness to ensure the re-election of the Governor for another term in office.

Governor Oyetola while addressing the mammoth crowd at the campaign ground said he is in Government to serve, urge the crowd to ensure his re-election in the coming July 16th Gubernatorial election.

"In 1983, I had the privilege of sitting and interacting with Baba Awolowo, and that attests to the fact that I understand the concept of progressive governance. We are not in government to struggle for relevance, we came to serve, we came to fix Osun. Our works have shown that we are not a novice  in politics".

"Osun people are not hungry people, I've not come with dollars to intimidate you, Osun is not for sale. Osun is at a very delicate phase in history, let us entrust its leadership to hands that have been tested, not gamblers or jesters, or those who think Osun is for sale”, Oyetola said.

You gave me your mandate almost 4years years ago to serve as your Governor and I did not disappoint you through the help of God, I hope you'll not relent this time around to return me for another term" He added.
