Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has declared his abandonment from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He made the declaration at a gathering with chose nearby government executives and Councilors at the Government House Makurdi.

Ortom said that he has sent his renunciation letter from the APC to his ward chairman. He additionally guaranteed the availability of the APC ward chairman to go along with him in the new party.

This is coming after a few adolescents dissented and banished him from venturing out to Abuja to go to the APC compromise meeting.

The young people had raged the Government House on Wednesday morning. The governor had, around 10am, taken off from Government House, Makurdi, when the young people in their hundreds obstructed his course.

While speaking, Terrence Kuanum and Pastor Dave Ogbole who talked for the benefit of the young people prompted the governor not to go to the gathering but rather to look for elective stage for his re-decision.

The young people debilitated not to vote in favor of him on the off chance that he evades their recommendation or go to the gathering.
