Posted by: Mr. Babatunde« on: September 20, 2018, 07:18:58 AM »![]() President Muhammadu Buhari has informed the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to stop the probe of the osun governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Ademola Adeleke. The police had earlier on Wednesday asked the lawmaker and four others to report to their Special Investigation Panel in Abuja for arraignment in court for alleged examination malpractice. Spokesman for the police, Ag. DCP Jimoh Moshood, had in a statement summoned Adeleke and four others namely: Sikiru Adeleke, Aregbesola Mufutau (Principal of Ojo-Aro Community Grammar School, Egbedore LGA, Osun State), Gbadamosi Thomas Ojo (School Staff responsible for the registration of candidates for NECO), Dare Olutope (School Teacher who facilitated the commission of the crime) to report to the Special Investigation Panel, Force Headquarters, Abuja, immediately for arraignment in court. But it was learned that Buhari ordered that Adeleke should not be invited until after Saturday’s election. “The President has ordered that Adeleke should not be invited until after Saturday’s election,’’ a source in the presidency said.
