Posted by: Mr. Babatunde« on: October 30, 2017, 04:01:05 PM »![]() President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the embattled Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, and the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke. The president appointed Boss Mustapha as the new SGF, adding that the appointment takes immediate effect. Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina announced this in a statement on Monday. Adesina said President Buhari accepted the recommendation of the Vice President Osinbajo-led panel to terminate the appointment of Lawal and Oke. Adesina said Buhari approved the setting up of a three-member panel to, among other things, look into the operational, technical and administrative structure of the Agency and make appropriate recommendations.
