The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has donated N10m to victims of a pipeline explosion in Abia State.

Concise News understands that the incident took place in Umuimo and Umuaduru communities in Osisioma Local Government Area of the state. The development led to the loss of scores of lives with Atiku describing it as a devastating development.

Atiku in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja by his campaign organization called for more safety measures to curb future occurrences.

He prayed God to give the affected families the fortitude to bear the loss.

Atiku’s running mate Peter Obi also visited the state over the incident.
