The Asus ROG Phone 2 is also a premium gaming device, just like the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro. Also, the beast is described as a powerhouse because it comes with a huge indoor battery capacity that can also function as a power bank.

It's an incredible device to make gamers more addicted as it carries a stunning OLED 120Hz refresh rate screen and multiple USB. The bad sides are that it seems to be rough, unattractive and heavy as well.

Design And Display
If you’re looking for a device to flaunt around, then this Asus ROG Phone 2 is not for you. As you can see, the smartphone is unattractive and definitely, it’s not one to impress anyone.

The smartphone is for those that know what gaming and multitasking are all about. The body is made of a premium material featuring glass both on the back and front with an aluminum frame.

It has body dimensions of 171 x 77.6 x 9.5 mm and weight 240 grams. The screen display size is a large 6.59 inches with an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio and 391 ppi density.

It packs a corning gorilla glass 6 for protection against scratch and cracks. Other display features on the Asus ROG Phone 2 includes DCI-P3 108%, HDR10, 120 Hz and 240 Hz touch-sensing.

Camera
On the camera department, the Asus ROG Phone 2 packs a dual-camera setup that consists of 48 MP wide with an additional 13 MP ultrawide camera.

The camera features LED flash, HDR, panorama and it can shoot full 4K video quality. The selfies snapper is 24 MP with Panorama, HDR and it can record 1080p@30fps video resolution.

Hardware And Software
On the hardware, the gaming Android phone has a powerful Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855+ chipset based on 7nm process technology. The octa-core processor on the inside is clocking at a speed of 2.96 GHz and it has Adreno 640 for graphics and gaming.

As for the memory configuration, the ASUS ROG Phone 2 has 128GB with 8GB RAM, another model comes with 256GB with ample RAM of 12GB. You will also get a model with a generous 512GB and 12GB RAM.

The highest you can get is 12GB with 1TB and you can not expand the memory with a micro SD card.

Battery And Network
Apart from the powerful processor, another top selling point of this phone is the monster 6000 mAh battery. The juicer has a fast battery charging 30W (Quick Charge 4.0) and power bank/Reverse charging 10W.

The Asus ROG Phone 2 has 4G LTE Network with WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, FM radio, dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS for navigation and 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, and accessory connector.

In Nigeria, the phone will cost around 210,000 Naira, whereas in Ghana it will cost 3,200 GHS and 60,000 KES in Kenya.
