In the last few weeks, Supergroup Spillage Village dropped a pair of singles to generate hype for the upcoming album Spilligion.

Today, J.I.D, EarthGang, 6lack, Mereba, Jurdan Bryant, Hollywood JB and Benji 's diverse crew have posted their full album of 12 songs in total. The project was done mainly during quarantine, when there was nothing much to do for most participants.

When J.I.D rented a house in Atlanta to record its third album, the album was first conceptualized.

"We've always done the communal thing," he says of Spillage Village and the Rollingstone project. In this situation, I was like,' We should do it as well because nobody's doing something." It was a similar idea to how the members joined forces in Atlanta along with other partners to create the critically acclaimed compilation Revenge of The Dreamers III by Dreamville.

"In the midst of being rapping-ass n — s, we tried a lot of experimental shit because we just love music," Earthgang's WowGr8 says. "It was always a major moment when we found something that was more genre-bending and it played out and sounded like fire."
