It's official: Circles is on the way to a posthumous Mac Miller album.

For a while, there have been rumours that the estate is planning a new album from the famous rapper, but the information has not been verified. The estate has now announced the project together with the official artwork below. It's coming out on January 17th.

They reveal that Circles was meant to be a companion album to his last and critically acclaimed album, Swimming. Mac passed away on Sept 7, 2018 after he was found unresponsive in his Studio City home.

And although the death was initially termed as accidental, it was later found out by the Los Angeles County coroner that he had died from overdose of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl. Photo from instagram
