Today, in the release of his highly anticipated sophomore effort titled King of R&B, chart-topping singer Jacquees defends his assertion. The 14-track album features the previously released single,' Verify,' featuring guest appearances by T.I., Tory Lanez, Quavo, Young Thug, Gunna and his FYB crew. Together with Lil Baby(' Your Peace'), Blueface(' You Remix') and Kirko Bangz(' Work Sumn'), Jacquees primed fans for the new album. The new album follows a recent feud between Jacquees and Def Jam star YK Osiris. The “Worth It” hitmaker self-proclaimed himself the King of R&B last month, leading to the two artists exchanging words over social media. Shown below, responding to YK Osiris saying he (Jacquees) couldn’t touch him musically, Jacquees said, “YK Osiris, stop knocking on my door, stop asking me for big bro advice…” Formerly titled Round 2, King of R&B is the direct follow-up to Jacquees’ 2018 debut 4275 (Republic). And with features by Dej Loaf, Jermaine Dupri, Young Thug and Chris Brown, the debut album included hits ‘B.E.D.’ and ‘Inside’. Along with his release, Jacquees is also featured on Dave East’s new album Survival (Def Jam Records/Mass Appeal), also released today, on the new hit single called ‘Alone‘.
