Hopsin has been honest about not being in a very good position over the past couple of years. That has influenced the music and hardly any material has been put out by the talented emcee.
It looks like he is now in a much better position, though. He made an Instagram vlog yesterday (look at it below) where he had a message to his fans that he was in a really dark place, but going to therapy really helped him get out of it.
Hopsin cautioned that some of the music he would release was made while he was in a depressing state of mind, after urging others who are going through a tough time to opt for therapy, and therefore does not reflect his current mood.
He kicks it off with a new single called ‘Your House’ where he raps about the dysfunctional relationship between his father and mother that led to a lot of the struggles he finds himself in, in his adult life. This is Hopsin’s first new release since ‘Kumbaya‘ in June last year. Listen to it below.
