While being a few deep projects with different mixtapes and EPs, surprisingly, until tonight, Dave East still had to release his own full-length debut album.

Many of his other project albums have been regarded by many fans, but this one has had the stamp on it as his first all year long and is being viewed as such.

The Survival track list sees guest appearances, of course, from DJ Premier, Gunna, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Max B and other big names, as well as from Nas. Dave East has been admired so far, but mostly unable to break out with a major record outside his own fan base, but maybe now is the time.
