Posted by: Mr. Babatunde« on: August 06, 2019, 11:10:22 AM »Burial (William Bevan) and the Bug (Kevin Martin) teamed up for a two-song EP last year under the name Flame 1. They seem to have sparked their creative fire again because they are back with another two-track compilation today, this time with the Flame 2 band name. The new tracks are called "Dive" and "Rain," fitting the last year's titles "Fog" and "Shrine." As Boomkat points out, the first new track, "Dive," is Burial and the dark, twisted spin on the UK drill sound that has always been popular overseas in recent years. While “Rain” finds them digging into reggaeton and dancehall in an especially dubby manner. Hear both new tracks below — and I guess look out for a two-song collection from Flame 3 next year?
