A Marvel Cinematic Universe fan matches Iron Man's snap perfectly with Avengers ' Infinity Gauntlet: Endgame to usher in the new year 2020. For Marvel Studios, 2019 was, of course, a big year, launching the concluding Infinity Saga movie in Avengers: Endgame.

The movie continued on from the cliffhanger ending of 2018's Avengers: Infinity War and featured the heroes left alive by Thanos' snap dealing with the loss of half the universe's population. When Ant-Man escapes the Quantum Realm, he inspires a plan to bring everyone back and defeat Thanos.

This scheme leads to a massive battle between the Avengers-with the help of all their returning allies-and the forces of Thanos. The huge battle scene gave plenty of favorite moments to Marvel fans, from Falcon's "On Your Right" quip to Captain America picking up Thor's hammer and teaming up the MCU's female heroes.

The fight ended when the Infinity Gauntlet was used by Iron Man to snap Thanos and the rest of his army away, allowing the Avengers to win the day, though it came at the cost of the sacrifice of Tony Stark. Still, Iron Man's snap has become a fan-favorite moment, and now with this epic Avengers: Endgame Moment, one Marvel fan has posted a video ringing in the new year 2020.

YouTube user The Sweaty Ace posted a video showing the clock hitting midnight on Jan. 1, 2020 just as Avengers: Endgame reaches Tony Stark's "I am Iron Man" moment. The camera then pans to the Sydney, Australia fireworks, celebrating the new year not only with a climactic MCU moment, but with a real-life bang. Check out the video below.

Since folks rang in 2019 with Thanos' snap in Avengers: Infinity War, it's appropriate that Marvel fans are now doing the same thing with Iron Man's snap in Avengers: Endgame. It's arguably a better way to kick off the new decade, on the high note of a hero saving everyone, rather than on the depressing moment when the Mad Titan erased half the population of the universe.

It also makes sense to end the 2010 decade, which was dominated by Marvel's increasingly popular MCU franchise, with the concluding chapter of the Infinity Saga. Hopefully, ringing in the new year with Iron Man's Avengers: Endgame snap is a sign of positive things to come for this Marvel fan and all those around the world.

To be sure, Marvel Studios and the MCU aren't slowing down. As revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 and D23 2019, Marvel Studios unveiled the MCU Phase 4 slate, which includes new Marvel properties like Eternals and Shang-Chi, sequels to Doctor Strange and Thor, as well as a number of TV shows to hit Disney+.

This year alone, Marvel Studios has Black Widow and Eternals hitting theaters, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premiering on Disney+. Plus as recently confirmed, WandaVision will release on Disney+ in 2020 as well. So there's plenty for Marvel fans to look forward to in 2020 and beyond!
