WATCH: The Looming Tower - Official Trailer
on: January 12, 2018, 12:46:43 AM

Two motivations to get energized for Hulu's up and coming new arrangement "The Looming Tower:" a silver haired Michael Stuhlbarg and a hairy Peter Sarsgaard. On a less essential note, the arrangement is by all accounts a kind of 9/11 prequel, "an investigative spine chiller" itemizing "the rising risk of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in the late 1990s." It is official created by documentarian Alex Gibney and "Capote" screenwriter Dan Futterman. Here's the official outline:

In light of the Pulitzer-Prize winning book, The Looming Tower follows the rising danger of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in the late 1990s and how the competition between the FBI and CIA amid that time may have accidentally set the way for the awfulness of 9/11. The arrangement takes after individuals from the I-49 Squad in New York and Alec Station in Washington, D.C., the counter-fear based oppression divisions of the FBI and CIA, separately, as they venture to the far corners of the planet battling for responsibility for while apparently progressing in the direction of a similar objective – attempting to keep a fast approaching assault on U.S. soil.

As to FBI-CIA strife, Futterman goes so far as to disclose to USA Today, "

ossibly, had there been less individual enmity and all the more sharing of data, [9/11] may have been preventable."

To those of you who are put off, or just unbiased in, the preface of this show, enable me to advise you that it highlights Michael Stuhlbarg's silver hair and Peter Sarsgaard's substantial obligation facial hair. So get buildup.

Likewise featuring Jeff Daniels, Bill Camp, Tahar Rahim, and Alec Baldwin, "The Looming Tower" hits Hulu on February 28th.
