In order to accomplish that, he assembles a group of robbers to devise a perfect plan that will enable them all to amass enormous wealth. Rewinding to his heyday prior to the events of Money Heist, Berlin teams up with an experienced gang in Paris to organize one of his most audacious heists to date. Berlin's primary issue is the same one that dogged a number of its predecessors. In the flagship series, the bank robber swiftly gained popularity, but this doesn't always imply he would make the best protagonist. Berlin, a self-absorbed at best and a psychopath at worst (and we've seen his worst), would need to produce a far more daring program to accept his less-than-human inclinations while maintaining an engaging and entertaining storyline. But in an attempt to make the character more approachable, this series goes for the simpler and dumber path of trying to humanize him. Date of Release: December 29, 2023
