As seen in the new trailer for “Survive,” a young woman at the end of her rope (figuratively) finds herself in a situation where she’s lucky to be alive after surviving a plane crash on her way home from a treatment center.

Joining her in the snowy mountains is another survivor of the crash, a young man she briefly met before boarding the plane. Now, the duo must brave the elements and wildlife, all in an attempt to…dun, dun, dunnnnnnn…SURVIVE.

After months of hype and questions about what it actually is, the streaming platform is hoping to change how you view films and TV series this April, presenting content in “quick bites” (approximately 10-minute-long “episodes” that can be easily consumed on mobile devices). And one of the Quibi originals that are going to be available at launch is the series, “Survive.”

The series stars Sophie Turner and Corey Hawkins. Turner is probably best known for her role as Sansa Stark on the HBO series “Game of Thrones.” Hawkins has appeared in films such as “Straight Outta Compton,” “Kong: Skull Island,” and “6 Underground,” as well as TV series such as “The Walking Dead” and “24: Legacy.” “Survive” is written by Richard Abate and Jeremy Ungar, with the series being directed by Mark Pellington.

“Survive” debuts when Quibi launches on April 6.

Here’s the synopsis:

Jane (Sophie Turner) wants to end it all. Then a plane crash almost ends it for her. Now she’s crawling from the wreckage with the only other survivor (Corey Hawkins) and a new drive to stay alive. Together they embark on a harrowing journey out of the wilderness, battling brutal conditions in this thrilling drama based on the critically acclaimed novel, SURVIVE, by Alex Morel.
