It's unusual that it takes time for scripted dramas targeted towards the preteen and teenage audience to remind themselves that the parents of these children will also be watching, and to ensure that everyone is entertained by the show.

Canada's Sinking Ship Entertainment seems to have this in their DNA; for example, they debuted the highly entertaining Ghostwriter reboot on Apple TV+ in November. Now, with their newest series, they range from ghosts to aliens and endangered animals.
