When God plans to destroy the Earth, two low-level angels must convince their boss to save humanity. They bet him they can pull off their most impossible miracle yet: help two humans fall in love. There are many film fans that already consider actor Steve Buscemi a god. But the new TBS series, “Miracle Workers,” takes the idea to a whole different level, casting the actor as the literal big man up in the sky. Adding to this all-star group of talent is the creator-producer of the series, Simon Rich. For those not aware of Rich’s work, the writer is probably best known for his FXX comedy “Man Seeking Woman,” as well as his screenwriting work on films like “Inside Out” and “Secret Life of Pets.” “Miracle Workers” premieres on TBS on February 12, 2019.
